The bases of the turbines have been sunk into the seabed |
The last part of the final turbine in a 75m windfarm scheme off the Norfolk coast has been put in place. Developer Powergen says it was lifted into position at Scroby Sands near Great Yarmouth at 0700 BST on Tuesday.
The tender carrying the last two turbines had sailed out over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The windfarm, which consists of 30 turbines, should generate enough electricity to power around 41,000 homes when it is finished in August.
Construction of the windfarm began in October 2003.
The original plan had been for 39 turbines, but this was later reduced to 30.
