A fourth teenager has been charged with the murder of a father-of-three who died after approaching a group of youths outside his home. Garry Newlove, 47, was fatally injured in Station Road North in Warrington, Cheshire, on Friday night.
Three boys, a 16-year-old and two aged 15, appeared in court charged with his murder on Tuesday.
Adam William Swellings, 18, of Meredith Street, Crewe, was remanded by magistrates in Runcorn on Wednesday.
He is due to appear at Warrington Crown Court on 24 August.
The other three boys appeared before magistrates in Runcorn on Tuesday and were remanded in custody to appear at Warrington Youth Court on 20 August.
Two teenagers remain in police custody for questioning.
A post-mortem examination showed Mr Newlove died as a result of a haemorrhage caused by a hard blow near his left ear.
