Arrows at Battle re-staging gala
Red Arrows flying at an air show
The Red Arrows will be a centrepiece at both events
A flypast by the Red Arrows is set to be one of the highlights of two airborne coastal events at the weekend.

A re-enactment of the Battle of Britain will also be staged at the annual heritage gala in Morecambe.

The arrows were due to appear at the gala as well as Southport Air Show, watched by thousands at both events.

A range of military aircraft is also due to feature at the events, including the Nimrod, a Jaguar, Tornado and four Harrier jets.

Aviation enthusiasts will be able to get a close-up look at the aircrafts on the ground.

The World War II battle re-enactment on Morecambe beach is due to take place on Saturday afternoon, with flights by the military aircrafts on both days from 1200 BST.
