A 58-year-old solicitor accused of taking compensation money from one of his clients has been charged with 31 more financial charges. Thomas McGoldrick, of Mobberley, Cheshire, has been charged with 28 counts of false accounting and three of obtaining a pecuniary advantage.
He had previously been charged with 40 counts of false accounting, one of forgery and four of money-laundering.
Mr McGoldrick ran practices in Altrincham and Croydon, London.
Mr McGoldrick, of Faulkners Lane, has been suspended from practice.
He is due before Trafford magistrates on Thursday, Greater Manchester police said.
