| A solicitor has been charged with false accounting, forgery and money laundering after an investigation by police in Greater Manchester. Thomas More McGoldrick, 57, of Mobberley, Cheshire, faces 45 offences following investigations into the accounts of a solicitor's firm. The company was based in Altrincham and Croydon and is believed to have been run by Mr McGoldrick. He is due before Trafford magistrates on Monday.
