A sixth teenager has been charged with murder over the death of 14-year-old Shaquille Smith in east London.

Shaquille was stabbed in the stomach in Hackney on 30 August as he sat on a bench near his house and died the following day.

The arrest of a 17-year-old youth from the Hackney area brings the number of accused to six.

The latest suspect, who will appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Thursday, cannot be named for legal reasons.
