Man denies killing boy in bakery

A man has denied murdering teenager Jimmy Mizen who died in an attack at a bakery in south-east London.

Jimmy bled to death when he was stabbed in the neck with broken glass at the Three Cooks bakery in Lee, south-east London, on 10 May.

The attack happened the day after he had celebrated his 16th birthday.

Jake Fahri, 19, of Millborough Crescent, Lee, appeared via a video link at the Old Bailey to plead not guilty to murder.

Jimmy's parents were present in court during Tuesday's hearing.

Mr Fahri was remanded to custody until his trial which is due to begin on 11 March next year.
