24-hour Tube strikes called off
Two 24-hour strikes planned for this Friday and Christmas Eve by train drivers on London Underground (LU) have been called off.

The strike threat by Jubilee Line drivers followed a row over a manager based at the North Greenwich depot, in east London.

Drivers' union Aslef said an agreement has been reached with the company.

LU said extra support for management would be provided at the depot where the dispute flared.

An independent investigation into industrial relations at the depot will be held.
