Three people died of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning
An inquest will open on Monday into the deaths of three elderly people who were found collapsed in a house in Lincolnshire on Sunday.

The three died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. However, the official cause of death has not yet been decided.

An 81-year-old man, his 80-year-old wife and another 79-year-old man were found at the house in North Hykeham.

An 82-year-old woman remains in Lincoln County Hospital in stable condition.

The victims have not yet been formally identified by police.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the house on Sunday evening.

A police spokesman said they were alerted by a concerned relative who was unable to enter her mother's house.
