Three people died of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning
Three people have been found dead of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in a house near Lincoln.

The alarm was raised when a woman could not get into her mother's house on St Mary's Road, North Hykeham, Lincolnshire, on Sunday evening.

The police broke the door down and found the bodies of two men in their 80s and a 79-year-old woman.

An 82-year-old woman survived and was been taken to hospital. Gas engineers were called to investigate the leak.

A Home Office pathologist has been brought in to carry out post-mortem examinations.

A full report will be prepared for the coroner.
