Tourist chiefs are hoping two new blockbuster movies will help boost visitor numbers to Lincolnshire. Lincoln's cathedral doubles for Westminster Abbey in the shooting of The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks.
Burghley House and nearby Stamford were locations used for Pride And Prejudice, with Dame Judi Dench, Matthew MacFadyen and Keira Knightley.
Filming also took place at Chatsworth House and Peak District in Derbyshire and the Northants village of Weekley.
The Visit Lincolnshire Group thinks this could lead to a flood of visitors to the county.
Stamford previously benefited from a tourist boom when it was used for the BBC production - shown in 1994 - of Middlemarch, where its period features helped recreate a bygone Coventry.
