The body of a missing Lincolnshire woman who disappeared in the Asian tsunami has been found. Joy Sunderland, 77, a grandmother from Stamford, was on holiday in the Thai resort of Phuket with her husband Arthur when the wave struck.
Mr Sunderland survived after being dragged to safety by two Thai men at their hotel complex, but he has not seen his wife since.
Mrs Sutherland's remains have finally been identified by Thai forensic teams.

Her daughters Faith and Una had travelled out to the area to look for the missing pensioner while her husband recovered from his ordeal in a Bangkok hospital.
Mr Sutherland said: "I have been informed that they have identified Joy, they have found her - that is wonderful.
"The wonderful service that those forensic men and women are doing, it's so incredible.
"They are working every day and it wouldn't be a pleasant task.
"But to have found her after five months is terrific."
A Lincolnshire Police liaison officer has been supporting Mr Sutherland throughout his ordeal.
The tsunami death toll, put at more than 273,000, included 125 UK citizens with a further 20 still missing.
