| Officials behind the 9m Dock Link Road in Boston say work should start late next year. Opponents of the scheme say it will hamper the town's campaign for a full bypass and will only have a limited impact on congestion. But project managers claim the project will safeguard up to 4,000 jobs and help Boston port expand. Port bosses said it would help reduce traffic jams around the area and allow the site to handle more cargo.
