Drugs raids lead to seven arrests
A major anti-drug operation by Lincolnshire police has led to the arrests of seven people.

Ten addresses on Lincoln's Birchwood estate were searched, and officers seized cannabis resin, cannabis plants, and equipment used in its production.

Further tests are being carried out on other substances discovered, and four people have been released on police bail pending the results.

Raids took place on 19 and 20 August, but details have just been released.

Three people were reported for summons and will appear before Lincoln City Magistrates at a future date.

Officers say this operation demonstrated to dealers in any kind of illegal drugs that their activities would not be tolerated.
