Plans to expand library building
A 5m complex including a library, doctors surgery and flats could be built in a Leicestershire town.

Plans call for the existing library building in Oadby to be demolished and rebuilt on the same site.

If it gets the go ahead, building will start this autumn until spring of 2008, meaning the library will have to move into short term premises.

But managers are promising that when it returns it will be bigger and better equipped than ever.
