Temporary bans have been issued to 100 people caught causing problems in the centre of Loughborough. The crackdown follows the creation of a dispersal zone since the beginning of March by police to try to curb anti-social behaviour.
It gives officers the power to move on people and order them not to return within a 24-hour period.
Those who refuse to follow the order are arrested and further action can and has been taken.
The order is set to remain in place until the beginning of next year.
