Airport consultation criticised
Campaigners against new flight paths to Nottingham East Midlands Airport say new leaflets do not details the full extent of planned changes.

Airport managers are using a roadshow and thousands of leaflets to tell the public about the proposed changes.

But East Leicestershire Villages Against Airspace says there is no mention of night flights, one of the main areas of concern.

The airport has said the brochures are meant to be concise.

Campaigners, who claim new routes will disrupt their lives, have also complained the airport does not mention the numbers of flights expected to use the airport.

In response, the airport say they have issued a full consultation document to each county, city, district and parish council affected, but that the brochures were meant for a broader audience.
