Campaigners against new flightpaths planned for Nottingham East Midlands Airport are considering how to turn a delay into a victory. The East Leicestershire Villages Against Airspace campaigners are celebrating after the airport managers unexpectedly put their scheme on hold.
But the airport says it is only allowing more time to consult with the public before seeking final approval.
It will still seek new flightpaths from the Civil Aviation Authority.
