Football club hit by arson attack
Arsonists have set fire to part of a Leicestershire football club's ground.

The fire brigade was called to a small fire at Hinckley United's clubhouse at 0230 BST on Sunday.

Rob Main, vice-chair of the club, said they should be able to repair the damage, which is restricted to the entrance, within a few days.

But he was worried the fire appeared to be a deliberate attempt to target the club's building.

He said: "I just couldn't believe it, considering we are only going to be in the building for another three months.

"The damage is to the steps and the double doors and the roof.

"It's a bit gutting really. Has someone got a vendetta?"
