Teenager's family in inquest call
Adam Rickwood
Adam is thought to be the youngest person to die in UK custody
The family of a 14-year-old boy who hanged himself in a young offenders' institute are still waiting for an inquest into his death two years later.

Adam Rickwood, of Burnley, Lancashire, was found dead at the privately-run Hassockfield Centre near Consett, County Durham, on 9 August 2004.

His family believe he hanged himself as he was kept too far from his family.

They will join others from the pressure group Inquest, which monitors custody deaths, in London on Saturday.

They plan to march from Trafalgar Square to Downing Street on Saturday.

His family said something needed to be done to protect vulnerable children in custody.

Adam was on remand facing a charge of wounding when he was found dead.

He is thought to be the youngest person to die in UK custody.
