Andrew Flintoff will watch the pupils play cricket
Lancashire cricketer Andrew Flintoff is going back to his former primary school to encourage children to take up a wider range of sports.

The England all-rounder will be at Greenlands Community Primary in Preston to answer pupils' questions and watch a cricket session at the school.

The scheme is part of a 75,000 project funded by the National Lottery.

The money has been given to the Local Education Authority to find ways of getting children to be more active.

Flintoff, who has previously been named North West Sports Personality of the Year, is currently recovering from ankle surgery.
