A racy poster campaign is being used by police in Blackpool to reduce alcohol-fuelled violence. The adverts - which appear similar to the famous Wonderbra publicity campaign - feature local model Rachel Hall, 22, dressed in skimpy clothing.
One has the slogan: "Hi boys! I'd rather have a laugh with you than see you in stitches."
The Walk Away posters are part of the Lancashire Police Nightsafe scheme, to cut down on alcohol-related violence in the resort.
They will be placed on advertising hoardings and buses when the Walk Away initiative is launched later this month.
Nightsafe is managed by Superintendent Andy Rhodes, who travelled to Faliraki last weekend to advise Greek police on problems in Faliraki.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said the posters were aimed at young men, aged 18 to 24.
'Not attractive'
She said: "Walk Away is looking at educating that age group targeting binge drinking and making the point that if you want to go home with a girl at the end of the night, that it's just not attractive."
The campaign was devised after police spoke to youngsters about what would make them think twice about their levels of drinking.
Licences have also been approached as part of Nightsafe and the police push to get rid of drinks promotions, which they say encourage binge drinking.
Other plans include a tour of schools and colleges, warning of the consequences of binge drinking and the health side effects.
