Homes without water reconnected
Water tap
Homes began losing their water supplies on Saturday evening
Most of the 75 homes left without water for almost a day because of a burst pipe have been reconnected.

People living in the area surrounding Gorse Road and Bracken Road, Tunbridge Wells, were without water for nearly 20 hours between Saturday and Sunday.

South East Water said it located the leak underneath Fairmile Road and reconnected 63 of the properties on Sunday afternoon.

It said engineers hoped to have the remaining homes reconnected very soon.

The company started delivering bottled water to the homes affected by the burst on Sunday morning.
