The summer campaign follows feedback from local residents |
Residents and visitors in Thanet are being encouraged to keep the district beautiful and not to drop litter. A Thanet District Council campaign is urging people to be proud of their area and is telling them they could face fines for littering or dog fouling.
It features images of Ramsgate, Margate, Broadstairs, Kingsgate Bay, St Nicholas at Wade and Dane Park.
Posters publicising the campaign are being put up across the area, while post cards will also be on sale.
The Thanet is Beautiful campaign will run for the duration of the summer holidays, and highlights "just how lucky people are to live in Thanet".
It warns that anyone seen dropping litter or dog fouling could face an on the spot council fine of at least 50.
