Samples of bathing water from Viking Bay failed two tests in August |
Investigations will continue through the summer after Broadstairs became the only beach in the South East to fail water quality tests last year. Samples will be taken from bathing water and surface water in the hope that the data will explain the cause of the pollution which is still unknown.
Viking Bay's bathing water twice failed European standards last August.
The council, Southern Water and the Environment Agency have carried out investigations throughout the winter.

Thanet council's strategic director, John Bunnett, said: "A significant amount of work has been carried out by all three agencies over the last four months and this will continue during the summer season.
"We have so far been able to discount a number of potential sources for the pollution and have investigated a number of concerns raised by local people.
"However, we still do not have a definitive answer about the cause of these water failures and we are all determined to continue working together to try to find the source of the pollution.
"We cannot allow Viking Bay to fail again.
Public meetings
"It is one of Thanet's premier beaches and it must have excellent water to match its facilities."
He said detailed sampling during the summer should help to identify the cause and that residents would hear the results of the investigations in October.
A public meeting was held on 25 April to explain the planned action to residents, and another will be held in the autumn.
Details of the sampling during the summer will be made public as soon as they are available, the council has said.
