The winter vomiting bug causes sickness and diarrhoea

Seven wards at the Kent and Sussex Hospital in Tunbridge Wells remain closed and 35 patients are still affected with the illness.

Ten out of 13 wards at the hospital were closed on Friday, with emergency cases being sent to Maidstone Hospital.

The hospital reopened for emergency admissions on Saturday.

Seven members of staff, as well as the patients, caught the virus.

Health bosses have been urging relatives to delay visits unless they are essential.
