Sister plans Bali memorial event
Paul Hussey
Paul Hussey was one of 28 Britons killed in the Bali bombings
A woman whose brother was killed in the Bali bombings two years ago is organising a celebrity event in Kent to raise money for a memorial.

Paul Hussey was the manager of two hotels in Kuta when he was killed by the terrorist bombs in October 2002.

Sue Cooper, from Folkestone, is hoping the fundraising auction in Hythe next February will raise enough money for a permanent memorial for all the victims.

Two hundred and two people died in the attacks, including 28 Britons.

A number of celebrities have already pledged their support for the function, which will include a dinner and cabaret.

Sue Cooper said her brother, who was from Hawkinge, in Kent, would have approved of what she was doing.

"I think he'd be surprised that I was actually doing this because he was the one that would have done this every day of the week, and if I'd ever thought about doing anything like this he was the one that I would have phoned," she said.
