Police officers on the beat in north east Lincolnshire have set up a new base at a primary school. They have been given an office in the grounds of Humberside Church of England School, in Humberston.
It means the officers covering Humberston and New Waltham no longer have to return to Cleethorpes Police Station for phone inquiries or to do paperwork.
The office has its own separate access and will be used by officers throughout the day and night.
Pc Andy Wood, community officer with Cleethorpes South local policing team, said: "We try to spend as much time as possible out on the beat and within the community.
"This local base is in the very heart of the community in which we work and it will mean that myself and my colleagues won't have to leave the area while we are on duty."
Head teacher at Humberston School Richard Dawson added: "We are delighted to be able to offer this facility, which will benefit the whole community, to our local police officers."
