Castle puts on tales of two kings
The legends of two ancient Celtic kings will be retold at Stokesay Castle in Shropshire over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Blue Chicken Theatre Company is putting on two plays that take audiences back to the days of Roman and Saxon invasions.

Both performances feature fast-moving drama, masks, puppetry and audience participation.

The Legend of Lludd and the Plagues of Albion is being performed on the Sunday, and Vortigern and the Castle of Doom on Bank Holiday Monday.

The two plays explore myths, magic and folklore.

Performances are at 1200 BST and 1500 BST on Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday.
