Faith healer sees baby Charlotte
The Hampshire parents of a seriously-ill baby at the centre of a High Court battle for the right to life have brought in a faith healer to help her.

Carol Everett, who describes herself as an "energy healer and psychic", has visited Charlotte Wyatt in hospital.

Charlotte, who has damage to her brain and vital organs, was the focus of a legal battle after doctors asked for permission not to resuscitate her.

Debbie and Darren Wyatt, of Portsmouth, argued she should be allowed to live.

Mr Justice Hedley ruled in favour of the doctors, saying that Charlotte's quality of life would be poor if she was resuscitated.

Mrs Everett said: "My feeling is that people feel they have to do everything they can.

"I do not perform miracles but what I do is put extra energy into your body that it hasn't got."

Mrs Everett claims that Charlotte, who has been at St Mary's Hospital in Portsmouth since she was born more than a year ago, has shown signs of improvement since her visit.
