One of the world's biggest airshows is expected to attract more than 150,000 people over the weekend.

RAF Fairford on the Wiltshire/Gloucs border is playing host to hundreds of the world's aircraft.

Organisers, who estimated that up to 200,000 people visited the two-day event in 2004, said they were hoping for a profit this year.

Traffic systems have been changed in an attempt to tackle queueing at the venue which has been a problem in the past.

In 2003, spectator numbers were down and the event, which supports the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.
