The Dublin-based airline, which has its main UK base at Stansted, will fly to Grenoble in France, Kaunas in Lithuania and to Lodz and Poznan in Poland.

The flights to these destinations will begin between 22 September and 30 October, with fares starting at 99p, the airline said on Tuesday.

It is also increasing to twice a day its frequency on some other services.

There will be two flights a day to Londonderry, to Riga in Latvia, to Tampere in Finland and to Seville and Granada in Spain.
