The luxury cliff-top home of celebrated stage entertainer Max Bygraves has been sold for almost 2m. The 83-year-old lived in Panorama House - boasting art deco features and sea views - in Branksome Dene, Poole, Dorset, for nearly 30 years.
The five-bedroom property has been on and off the market since the singer moved to Australia in 2003.
But Westbourne-based Goadsby Estate agents have revealed a unknown buyer has stepped in.
The property also boasts landscaped gardens, a games room, a heated swimming pool, sauna and conservatory.
Kristian Andrews, manager of Goadsby, said the house was also used during WWII by Sir Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt.
