| Four people were admitted to hospital suffering from multiple injuries after a taxi was in a head-on collision. The driver and three passengers were trapped inside the Mercedes taxi after the accident with a Saab on Portland Beach Road, Dorset, on Sunday. Paramedics managed to stabilise the occupants of the taxi while firefighters removed the roof. They remain at Dorset County Hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening, police said.
