Globe-trek Briton kayaks to Bali
Jason Lewis and an expedition supporter
Mr Lewis has completed 26,000 miles (41,843km) since leaving the UK
A Briton trying to circumnavigate the world using only human power has arrived in Bali, Indonesia.

Jason Lewis, 37, of Bridport, Dorset, has spent 96 days kayaking 979 miles (1,575km) from East Timor.

He and two companions on the latest leg of his trip will now mountain-bike across Java.

Mr Lewis has also used in-line skates and a pedal boat to clock up the 26,000 miles (41,843km) covered intermittently since leaving the UK in 1994.

He will continue kayaking until he reaches Singapore.

Mr Lewis began his Expedition 360 by bike from London's Greenwich Meridian with founder member Steve Smith, from Wolverhampton .

The pair tackled the Channel, the Atlantic, the Pacific and the US mainland without motors or sails, before Mr Smith left to pursue other interests.
