Police bomb disposal experts were called out after five suspect aluminium containers were found near a beach. The devices, seven by four inches in size, were found by a National Trust Ranger picking litter near Studland beach and chain ferry in Dorset.
It is thought the containers, which looked like mortar shells, had been there for about 10 years.
