Hospital bug situation improves
Hospitals in the South West have reported an improvement in the outbreak of a gastric bug which had closed several wards.

One of the six wards closed at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital has reopened, although visitors are still being asked to stay away.

Three wards remain closed at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, with one expected to reopen on Monday.

Two wards are still shut at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

Managers there said the situation was improving.
