Centre revamp for park authority
The Peak District National Park is to spend almost 800,000 on revamping its headquarters in Bakewell.

The park authority said the 780,000 redevelopment will save 60,000 a year in running costs.

The project is aimed at improving facilities at Aldern House with the six month project work starting in April.

Under the plans the park's building will get an improved reception area, extended car park, and improved access for disabled visitors.
