'Peak grants' panel needs people
A panel which awards grants to community projects in the Peak District is looking for volunteers.

The National Park Authority needs more people to help decide where cash from its sustainable development fund should be spent.

A group of eight members meets once a month to consider applications made to the fund.

It is looking for people from all backgrounds to come forward and help them reach their decisions.

The fund has been provided by the government to support sustainable development in national parks.

Local arrangements have been set up by the Peak District National Park Authority and will operate until 2008.
