| A Derbyshire school is to reopen on Monday after an asbestos scare forced it to close. Mill Hill School in Ripley shut on Thursday amid concerns thieves had released asbestos during a break-in. They damaged a wall when they ripped a projector from its fixing. Staff and students were sent home as soon as the damage was discovered. Safety checks by environmental health officials have concluded that none of the fibres escaped into the corridors.
