Drivers in Derby are being warned mobile speed cameras will be used on some of the city's busiest routes. A new campaign started on Wednesday to reduce the number of speed-related accidents, especially at peak times.
The Derby Road Safety Partnership said it has a simple message for drivers - slow down or pay the fine.
It is targeting some of the city's commuter routes which it says have seen nearly 30 major collisions over the past two years.
Mobile cameras will be positioned along Stenson Road between the junctions of Village Street and Sunnyhill Avenue.
There will be more on a stretch of the Ashbourne Road where it meets Prince Charles Avenue and Radbourne Lane.
The partnership hopes the cameras will force drivers to be more careful.
