Peak District rewards green businesses
Peak district farming
The Peak District is a working environment
A website is being launched to promote environmentally-friendly products from the Peak District.

The site will only feature goods and services which come from within the national park.

To advertise on the site, firms will have to prove they have protected the park environment.

For this, they will also be awarded an environmental quality mark.

Arts and crafts and accommodation will be included on the site as well as food and drink.

The authority says it will be good for both businesses and consumers.

Victoria Coates from the national park authority, said: "Not only can customers be sure that by buying these products and services something good is happening on the ground in the Peak District.

"But they also come away with really good products and services that are made by a small business that really cares about what they are selling and the way they are making it."
