Backstage look at the Bard's work
The backstage secrets of Stratford-upon-Avon's Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) are to be revealed to the public next month.

It is holding a series of open events on Saturdays to give theatre fans an insight into the Swan Theatre's work.

Staff from the wigs, make-up, costume and props departments will be revealing some of the tricks of their trade.

There will even be the chance to sample stage blood and taste it during the events called Gallery Active.
