Schools host anti-bullying events
Ten Warwickshire schools are hosting anti-bullying workshops for parents and pupils to help combat the problem.

They are working with the county council and Warwickshire Children's Fund to tackle the issue.

Leslie-Anne Newton, Warwickshire County Council's anti-bullying coordinator, said it showed schools' commitment towards an anti-bullying agenda.

She said: "We have held meetings with schools, youth clubs, and organisations working with parents and young people."

She added: "Now we want to hear from parents and carers about what the difficulties are and how we can help them.

"Their views will be a vital part of our future anti-bullying strategy for Warwickshire."
