Foreign Minister Mike O'Brien is visiting two successful Warwickshire businesses. He will tour the Ryton-on-Dunsmore plant of Peugeot Citroen, in Coventry, during Monday's visit.
The site is the third largest car plant in the country, producing more than 200,000 Peugeot 206s a year.
More 206s are made in the UK than any other car and about 60% of those are for export.
Mr O'Brien will then go on to TPR Engineering Ltd, based in Heathcote Industrial Estate, Warwick, which has developed a revolutionary golf buggy.

The Action Caddy is a single-seated battery powered cart which carries golfers and a full set of clubs and can quickly be dismantled to fit into the boot of a car.
The company regularly exports to Belgium and recently took its first order for two buggies from Sweden.
Mr O'Brien said: "I am very impressed by the determination of these two companies to succeed in exporting.
"As a local MP, I am particularly pleased to see businesses in the Warwickshire area doing so well.
"The West Midlands continues to be Britain's manufacturing heartland, with the automotive sector accounting for about 40% of the region's exports. This represents more than a quarter of the UK's export total in the sector.
"Engineering is an important sector too, accounting for over 16% of regional exports."
