Hoax calls could endanger lives
A series of recent hoax calls have wasted time and resources and endangered lives in Cornwall, coastguards have said.

Falmouth Coastguard have received four calls, all made by the same person via a VHF radio, in the past two days.

The Radio Investigations Service could be called in and a spokesman said the MCA was confident the person responsible will be caught.

But a spokesman said the hoaxer could jeopardise genuine rescue operations.
