| A woman has been arrested after sparking a major cliff search at the weekend when she called the emergency services claiming to be lost. Coastguard teams were immediately scrambled to cliffs between St Just and Land's End and set off a series of flares to try to find her. When it transpired she was not lost, she was arrested and later released. Land's End coastguards say hoaxers waste valuable time and divert resources from people in genuine need.
