Brigade asking for fire warnings
People in Cornwall are being urged to make sure they contact the fire brigade before they have a bonfire.

Over the last two months, firefighters from Camborne and Redruth have attended 20 incidents after a member of the public dialled 999 having seen smoke.

On each occasion the "fire" has either been a controlled burn or bonfire on a person's property.

The brigade is calling on anyone who is planning to have a bonfire to get in contact and let it know.
