Meeting to look at bus services
First bus
First Group says changes will be made for the better
A delegation of Cornish councillors is to meet representatives of First buses to discuss the future of services in the county.

It is being led by the MP for Truro and St Austell, Matthew Taylor.

The meeting comes after the company dramatically reorganised its timetable.

It has also apologised for cuts in routes and the closure of bus stations on safety grounds.

The group says changes will be made for the better, drawing on how other companies operate their buses across the UK.
