'Battle of the bump' won by man
house and bump
The speed bump makes rainwater back up into the house
A Cambridgeshire man has won his battle to get rid of a speed bump he believes causes his home to flood.

Terry Lovett says the six-inch ramp at his 400-year-old house in Eynesbury, St Neots, makes the rainwater back up and flow into his property.

His house has been flooded three times in recent weeks.

An engineer from the Highways Department of the County Council met Mr Lovett on Monday and agreed to dig up the bump on Wednesday.
